FLW是专辑的最后一首歌,介于专辑中所谓的“黑色行军”乐团在游行完毕就不复存在,所以这首歌应该是乐团的告别宣言,说遗言可能有点不恰当吧.
歌里反复唱到了光和影,比如"So many bright lights,they cast a shadow".他们是黑色的军团,却要有光才能衬出黑暗.光是一把双刃剑,可以创造他们也可以毁灭他们,这就有了后来的"These bright lights have always blinded me".
另外这支黑色乐团成员的“性质”貌似不怎么相同,专辑里隐约提到过吸血鬼和狼人,这可能是他们不畏惧死亡和孤独的原因："I am not afraid to keep on living.I am not afraid to walk this world alone."
至于歌中的“你”,可能与前面歌里的“你”有相通之处,或许是深爱他却背叛了他的人."I see you lying next to me,with words I thought I'd never speak."
至于MV,由于是最后一首歌,最后一场演出,所以他们烧掉了舞台,摔坏了吉它.MV没有任何的修饰,完全是乐队发自内心的表演.没有特效,没有情节,却有最真挚感情的流露.
再说个小插曲吧,为了拍摄这个MV,鼓手Bob在身后的火已经烧到自己小腿的时候也坚持把音乐演奏完,后来伤口感染,Bob差点真的就挂了.
