I. I. (The Inspection and Test Center of No 23 Research Institute, CETC) has recently purchased some new testing equipment for the combustion and fire retardance tests for bunched wores andcables, so as to carry out the fire retardance and fire resistance tests of wire and cable products according to relative international and domestic standards.
Fire test on Bunched cables
The test can be used to evaluate the performance of bunched cables to inhibit flame spread in high-risk occasions,so as to study the flame-retardant and low smoke properties of wires and cables. We have the ability to conduct the fire test on the bundled cables in accordance with UL1685-2000,（Except for smoke-release test）,IEC60332-3-2008?(1992),GB/T18380.1992,GB18380.3-2001,EN50266-2001 and so on.

According to the statistics from national safety supervision and management bureau, 90% of firebreaks are caused by electric wire or cables. With the development of economy and society, the requirements of fire resistance,fire endurance, low smoke, halogen free, etc. for wires and cables are getting higher and higher. To better satisfy the need of wire&cable industry,based on availble equipment for single cord cable test in our test center, we further purchased the test equipment for bunched wires/cables combustion and fire edurance test. Now we are able to conduct a whole set of the fire resistance, fire edurance, etc. tests according to relevant international and national standards and codes for electric wires/cables.
Bunched cable burning test
Be used to evaluate the capability of preventing flamme spread under high fire hazard circumanstance and simulated bunched condition, also be used for the smoke characteristics of electric wires & cables industry as well as low fire resistance cables, it is applicable for UL1685-2000, IEC60332-3-1992, GB18380.3-2001, EN50266-2001,ect.standards for bunched cable burning tests.
Single cord electric wire and cable vertical burning test
