Till是指直到某一特定事件发生的时候,而在那个时刻之后,该事情或状况仍将持续.
Until是指直到某一特定事件发生的时候,而讲话的人在自己心里认为,在那个时刻之后,该事情或该状况将中止（不怎么可能持续）.
用在一些固定组合里的时候,till/until是不能替换的,from morning till night就是一例.这也是它们的一种区别.
还有till就没有not……在前面的形式,而until就有not……until形式.
英美国家的英语语法教师是这样来描述这两个字的分别的：
“Till” is used to mean the time up to a particular instance and the action can continue even after that.
“Until” is used to mean the time up to a particular instance...

实际上，很多人（包括外国人）写句子的时候不注意，也会犯混淆till until的错误的。
例句不多写了，大家不妨参考一下三楼的网友详细列出的例句，看是不是都符合这里所说的原则吧。万一有不准的，就换另一个进去，保证更加通顺！I'll wait till four o'clock是有违以上原则的，但如果改为I'll wait until four o'clock是不是感觉好多了？
